We have started featuring our trainers, instructors, and staff at Momentum Fitness. Today we'd like to introduce you to Nicole Fandozzi.
Why did you become a personal trainer? What do you love most about the job?
I saw how achieving my own fitness goals impacted my life in a positive way, and I want to lead others towards that same mindset. My absolute favorite part of training is watching my clients' progress. I feel so proud of them when their form gets better or they can perform harder sets.
Do you have a specialty or some other aspect of your education that you’re exceptional at?
Strength training, building muscle, and weight loss.
What is the biggest misconception about personal training, in your opinion?
That personal trainers will push you too far. We start off very slowly and progress when you are ready. It’s all about making people feel comfortable and confident.
What is the one statement you wish everyone would know about fitness?
The importance of consistency. It’s okay to take breaks once in a while to recharge, but make fitness and health part of your routine to build daily habits and achieve long-term goals.
Time for some free advice. What is your top tip for any of the following: losing weight, staying in shape, improving ability, building muscle, etc.?
Find a few exercises that you really love and incorporate them into your workout routines often. This helps keep your workouts fun and something you look forward to.
