What classes do you teach?
BodyPump and boot camp.
What do you love about group fitness?
I love the variety, camaraderie, accountability, and connection.
What is your #1 piece of advice for anyone new to your class(es)?
Don’t be intimidated…we were all new at one time! Keep coming back! Even if you’re sore…consistency is key!!
What is your #1 piece of advice for your regulars?
Increase your weights! Progress cannot be made if you don’t challenge yourself.
Those who know me know I love squats and lunges, especially with weights. I also love box jumps, TRX matrix, slamballs, and anything for core!
What is your technique pet peeve?
I see a lot of technique misfires with clean and press, as well as lunges. If I see it, I will correct it. If you think you might be guilty of it, don’t hesitate to ask for clarification. Keeping our members safe and healthy is our number one goal.
What's your favorite workout song that always gets you amped up?
Tough question! I have a lot because I love music. If I had to narrow it down, it might be “Jump Around” by House of Pain, “Mama Said Knock You Out” by LL Cool J, or “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N Roses.
